KayLaDee Dog Treats

2 lbs uncooked beef liver.....cut up
4 eggs
1 teaspoon minced garlic or garlic powder
1/2 cup corn oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup powdered milk (dry)
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup cornmeal

Preheat oven to 350.
Cover a cookie sheet (with sides) with aluminum foil and spray with PAM or cooking spray.
Place cut up beef liver into blender and puree (this is a disgusting part)
Pour this into a large mixing bowl.
Mix together eggs, garlic, oil, sugar, and powdered milk in blender (sorta cleans it out, too)

(You can omit the sugar if your dog does not need, I like this especially
for the working, show dog or toy breeds)

Pour mixture into bowl with liver and mix thoroughly.

Add cornmeal and whole wheat flour a little at a time and mix together to
form a dough.....sorta little on the softer side....not as stiff as cookie
dough but more consistency than cake batter!

Bake for 25 minutes....turn off oven and leave for up to an hour. Cool.
Cut up into pieces. Refridgerate a portion, place remainder into ziploc baggies and freeze!!!

I find the scissors work the best after I cut up into smaller chunks with a knife!

You can also add to the beef mixture any other "meat product" that you have
in the the refridgerator (like ground beef or chicken, etc)....if your dog
is lacking any vitamins, they can also be added to this mixture.

I've added puppy milk powder mix and IN vitamins...you can add extra vitamin E or carrots, peanut butter, kelp....

This recipe can be suited to your dogs likes and needs.

Hope they enjoy......this is a KayLaDee Papillon Delicacy
