Today, December 16th, Vega takes off to be with her new Mom, Marian, and celebrate Christmas in Sunny California with all of her family. Marian will travel back to Pennsylvania to visit her family here, but Vega now is officially "A California Girl"....part-time...So glad she was a good traveller!! Initial reports of her first few days with new family were glowing!!!

Mom is Recuperating |

Thanks to all of you who have met my Mom at shows, both Dog and Home Interiors, who have sent well wishes her way....either by snail mail or through me! She is doing much better and back to almost her "old feisty self"....my Dad seems to be getting along much better and are still enjoying the ecentricities of Miss Mariah......Driving Miss Mariah Crazy!!!! She is a real joy to them!!! |

All the rest seem to be doing fine....Denny and Ally are both showing promise at 18 weeks....opened up two pre-wrapped packages....not anywhere near a tree!!! Angel is still playing surrogate mother...and Kelly just "observes" while Chip rules the roost! We don't see Doc too much due to Laura's School Activities....busy girl..President of her Freshman Class to boot!
Update: 12/24/1999....Sad News for KayLaDee as Doc is killed while checking out a
barking dog across the street from my parents home while visiting on Christmas Eve.....
He never got to finish in the conformation ring...although he was pointed, but he will
always be a CHAMPION of the HEART!!! He won his 9-12 month puppy
Sweepstakes class at the MAP Specialty last February and took a 4th in the
Bred-By-Exhibitor Class....wonderfully shown by his owner, Laura! We will miss you, DOC!!!
Update: 1/3/2000....Denny is now in his New HOME....and pictures to arrive soon!!! |

Last year we had the "rage" icicle lights...I decided to change and be different, so I bought new icicles and went back to my old garland! NO RED and GREEN....yes,
I know PURPLE and GOLD...Royalty!
I will try to get some better pics....maybe right before it gets REAL dark out!!!
Notice....I don't climb too high to do decorating....used to pay someone to do that!!!
This is what you get for knowing me, a "chronic decorator"....next we will move inside!!!
