Ask Ally and Angel
Now is your chance....
You have heard of the great "A" sisters (Ann and Abby)  that offered advice
humans for many years.   There are other paps who have offered
their advice to fellow papillons and other dogs as well as humans, but
since our house gets TONS of emails and phone calls a day, we have
decided to help out with the questions that are the most important.
If you have a specific question, please contact one of us at
KayLaDeePaps@yahoo.com

Angel and Ally are experienced papillons, in both the various show rings as well as in therapy dog work and in life in general.  Angel has experience the joy and
loss of children as well as littermates.  Ally has "schmoozing" down pat and can offer expertise in that area.   From time to time we will invite our "friends" to answer some questions as they too may be able to offer some advice and
guide you in the right direction.

Shortly, we will unveil our  "Life at KayLaDee"  "All About Papillons"
pages.....   but if you have a question and would like it placed on
this page.....Ask away....   here are some to start with....

Dear Ladies,
We look at your site at least twice a week to see what you are up to.   Can you suggest a good food to eat as we are not eating the food that our mother buys us and thought you might let her know what YOU like.  Ally, your tail is SO long, do you use extensions?

Gizzy and Liz

Hi Gizzy and Liz....
We would really love to eat Mighty Dog and Cesar's...they are so very tasty.   Sometimes Kathy
will buy those and give them to us to "perk" up our appetite.  We eat a variety of foods and since most of us are related seem to tolerate them well.   The favorite food that we have right now is
Nutro Ultra Small Breed
and sometimes Chicken Soup for Dog Lover's Don't know what is in there that makes it SO tasty, but with our
raw chicken necks and beef and lamb bones, it really "hits the papspot".   We love all the different
selections of
Nature's Variety as well.
Ally's tail is "her own".  She does not have any extensions in there.  Recently Kathy trimmed it
and Ally was really upset as it was like the "loss of strength"...believe me, I'm her sister and she
is as little and powerful as the next papillon...and definitely a "tyrant".   I think it is the good
food, plus "the genes".  Our mother's tail touches the ground and so does our half sister, who has
the same name as one of you, Liz(zie).

Papillon Hugs and Butterfly Kisses....   Angel

Okay, you two, what's up?   I personally cannot believe that you are "sisters"....You look like
"night and day"....   Who are you fooling?
(Name withheld at request of my owner)

Hi (name withheld),
We have the same mother and father.  Angel was from the first litter and I was from their second litter.   We ARE like Night and Day, in coloring and attitude and drive and SIZE.   I am a very petite miss, nine inches in height and I weigh four and a half pounds,  and my sister is eleven inches tall and weights exactly twelve pounds.   Our coats are quite different as well as our body structure.  We are both "balanced" but yet look different.   Kathy calls it "in the genes".  If we look back in our lines there are "littles and bigs" back there.   Just because you have a little sire and a larger dam will not make it "one in the middle".   The size is not based on that.  We have not taken a genetics class, but just like human siblings are different... so are dogs!  I can't wait to do Agility like my sister Angel.  My problem is with the teeter.  I don't weigh enough to make it go down easy and have to wait too long.  I was a "perfect" conformation bitch, whereas Angel had a little too much height, though both of us fall within the standard.  That is why Angel was selected to do the other things as
well as get a few conformation points, but her best thing was giving birth to my niece and nephew, Cherub and
Champion Raphael (who is the first KayLaDee Bred-By Champion)
